American Christmas (Dreamers Series Novella) by Adriana Herrera

This novella follows Ari and Yin and their first Christmas living together. They each got the other the perfect gift and they both blow up in their faces.

I never dropped into my feelings for these characters. Their internal voices felt far too similar and not distinctive enough. There were a few explicit-ish sex scenes, but since I didn’t really care about the characters, they never really mattered to me. I loved Yin and Ari in the earlier books, but I don’t know that this story was needed, at all. -Ford
