Barbarian’s Rescue by Ruby Dixon (Ice Planet Barbarians #15)

This was an action-packed book that falls into the category of world-building, rather than couple’s story driven.

Summer and Warrek go to the fruit cave to stock up from the nearby Elder’s cave. While there, they see a space ship land near the Elders cave. When they go to investigate, they watch from afar as everyone at the Elder’s cave is brought into the new ship at gunpoint. Through chess-like maneuvers (Summer was very good at chess), they mount a rescue of their tribesmates.

Since this book is high on action the character/couple development isn’t as prominent. Of course, they still get together. Of course, there is still cave sex. In fact, this book falls into the even rarer category of manic humping in the snow.
