Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead (Finlay Donovan, #2) by Elle Cosimano

Book two picks up right where book one ends, so this may be one of those series that you cannot just jump into in the middle. Upside, Finlay is hilarious, the plots are delightful and you will not be sorry to go back to the beginning and start there.

Finlay and Vero are accidentally at it again. I was fortunate enough to have read books one and two back to back, so I didn’t have to wait long to resolve the cliff-hanger at the end of book one. For all of you who waited, I admire your strength.

These books are heart-felt and laugh-so-you-don’t-cry funny, as Finlay attempts to get away with murder and fails with spectacular flare, I keep wanting more and more of her messy complicated life.

I just found out that there are two more books planned in the series and the happy dance I did was loud and startling to the other people of Panera, which I now frequent if only to be mistaken for an out-of-work gun for hire. -Sky
