Merry Inkmas by Talia Hibbert

Review_ Merry Inkmas.jpg

Things I love:

Hot tattoos, people getting them, artists that can't put their drawing supplies down.

Things this book has:

All of those!!!!

Thank you Talia Hibbert for validating all the artists and their need to express themselves.

The characters were so interesting and so complex, that book felt just a touch too short. I needed more about every single one of them.

As always Hibbert delivers an honest look at a system that frequently overlooks women and their safety. I loved that she also touched on homelessness and the stigma that people assign to being without a permanent home, regardless of circumstances.

Also true to form, her portrayal of sexual and emotional relationships is very open and honest, and extremely relatable.
