Yes & I Love You (Say Everything #1) by Roni Loren
This book made the social media circuits when it first came out. With its striking cover art and catchy title, it was on every Women’s Fiction Shelf.
I have nothing against women’s fiction, but I was living my best “only read steamy steam” dreams and so I was staying closer to the erotica and romance sections. I kept hearing that this one is no slow burn so I finally caved.
Boy, am I glad I did. Not only is it a scorcher of a book, but it has a fantastic emotional center and the ability to really look at people as three-dimensional beings that have flaws.
There is a black moment, but it is absolutely not where I expected it, all my dread of what I thought was THE conversation got turned on its’ side, leaving me with no choice, but to keep reading, even though it was way past bedtime.
This book is lovely and I am completely surprised that I have not read anything else by Roni Loren up until now, I blame it on marketing I didn’t trust and cover hype I couldn’t believe. -Sky
