Barbarian’s Prize by Ruby Dixon (Ice Planet Barbarians #6)

Alright, I’m back and boy am I glad I came back to this series. This book is the best one yet. I bet you didn’t expect me back on this series so soon. I know. I only took like 4 days off. But I needed something at the end of the week, and giving Barbarians another shot, especially while my book club continues to zoom through the books, made sense. … So yes, peer pressure.

What I loved about this book above the others is that all the power to mate was in the female, Tiffany’s hands, and the care and attention that Salukh put into making sure she was ok and that every step was consensual after she had been sexually assaulted by the aliens who abducted her. All the sex scenes were so hot because it was all about Tiffany’s comfort and pleasure. It was about choosing who you love and not being led to it by the nose by fated mate resonance. This one felt the most in control and therefore the hottest. -Ford
