I am forever indebted to @lapubliclibrary for having almost all the books in this series! I’ve been driving a bunch between my two jobs and then just listening and lounging on my days off.

Book 9 in this series follows Maddie, the other new arrival to Not-Hoth and her struggle to fit into a society that is fully-formed. She connects with Hassen, the male that stole her sister and decide that a fling would be fun, but Sa-Khui don’t fling and the two have to figure out how to make it work when they are both lonely but want two different kinds of relationships.

When an earthquake changes everything for the tribe and Hassen puts his life in danger, Maddie decides to step up, join the tribe, and fight for the only male she wants.
