Only When It's Us by Chloe Liese (Bergman Brothers #1)

First of all, everyone who told me to read this book, you were right.

This is a great story, with complex characters that need support and get it. People who communicate and share their feelings, sometimes stuntedly, but they do. People who live through loss and grief, sometimes with grace, other times with reckless abandon.

I related to both Ryder and Willa, even though neither of their experiences is close to mine. I cheered for them and cried with them and I fell in love like them.

Sometimes it is so hard for me to formulate a review when I liked the book so much that words fail me. This is the case here. The book is great. Go read it.

Needless to say, after finishing this book, I immediately requested the rest of the series from the library. Seven siblings would be a lot to live with, but I am so grateful because that means I get to read more books about this family!!!! - Sky

CW: Death of a parent, depression, hearing loss.
