Ice Planet Barbarian by Ruby Dixon

Thank you to @berkleyromance and @this_is_edelweiss for the ARC of the new Special Edition of this book on sale Nov 30, 2021!!

I devoured this book! Almost as fast as Vektal goes down on Georgie. (Heh.) This was the first alien romance I’ve ever read and it was great. The premise: women abducted from Earth to be sold to aliens, are dumped on a frozen planet. Georgie, the de facto leader, goes to find help and instead finds a hunky blue barbarian who is mated to her.

There is LOTS of sex and honestly, this might just be erotica, AND I’M HERE FOR IT. It was the epitome of NSFW, but I read it at work anyways! I couldn’t stop!

If you don’t like some alpha chest thumping (even though he’s the sweetest) nor fated mates, I’d skip this series. If you are interested in horns and tails in your sex scenes, then read on! - Ford

I was not expecting to like this book so much, but I really did. Vektal is not as alpha as I was warned and Georgie is a fairly level-headed damsel-in-distress. The book doesn’t get too deep into anything, really, which makes it the perfect sexy escape. Also, Ruby Dixon does such a great job with sex scenes that I am now confused about my preferences for tails, extra penises and blue suede skin. I am thrilled to have read this chilly escape. Can’t wait to jump into book Two. - Sky
