I’ve been a longtime follower of Punderworld when it was on WebToons and I’m beyond delighted to see it get published. We were lucky enough to recieve a digital ARC from @this_is_edelweiss and @imagecomics!

Volume 1 is a short, quick read -it’s a graphic novel- that’s a re-telling of Persephone and Hades. This segment of the story shows their chance meeting, wistful longing from afar, some meddling from Zeus, and their crash landing in the Underworld. Linda Sejic perfectly depicts the razors edge of Persephone’s personality, the maker and the destroyer. Hades is a shy, introverted, workaholic who isn’t smooth but senses Persephone’s awkwardness matches his. His nervousness in her presences is the ultimate sweetness.
