Veronica’s Dragon by Ruby Dixon (Icehome 2)

This book was very hot. My new kink might be listening to smut in headphones in public places (or in this case, on the bus).

Veronica is a newly arrived human and clumsy as hell. She eventually learns that she has a healing ability, given to her by her symbiote. Ashtar is a golden dragon-shifter/ex-gladiator slave, who scents out Veronica as his immediately after waking from his stasis sleep.

This book is hella sexy. There is like a 20 min cunnilingus scene that left me panting behind my mask on the bus because Ashtar is just. so. bossy. MmmmmM.

This book had me asking so many questions:

• When Ashtar is in his dragon form, where his head is as big as a car, how big is his dick?

• Oh, wait. That was it. Just one question.

This book may have also had some undefined dom/sub kink. I’d love to hear from the kink community if they agree.

My one critique of this series so far is that there are a lot of repetitive words or phrases within the same sentence and they really become apparent when read aloud.

This book was so hot I immediately started book 3, Willa’s Beast, because we already got a peek into the fact that Willa and Gren go at it constantly. YES, PLEASE. -Ford
